FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

All that you need to bring is a current MN fishing license and any snacks or drinks that you would like during our time on the water. Don't forget to be dressed for the weather! 

CAN I KEEP MY FISH?

You are more than welcome to keep any fish that we catch as long as it falls within the Minnesota fishing regulations. I may suggest throwing back certain fish in order to protect our valuable resources. 

WHAT DOES THE GUIDE PROVIDE?

I will provide the boat, rods, reels, tackle, life jackets, fresh bait, as well as plenty of fishing tips and stories to go around.  

WHERE DO WE MEET?

If you are on the lake we are fishing, I can pick you up right at your dock. If not, a meeting place will be arranged once the location is decided.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY TRIP?

Your trip can be paid for the day of. I accept cash, check, and Venmo.  

WILL YOU CLEAN MY FISH?

Yes! If you choose to keep fish, complimentary fish cleaning/packaging is included for every trip.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ROD AND TACKLE?

You may bring your own gear, although rods and reels will already be rigged and ready for whatever specie(s) that we may target on your trip.

WHAT IF WE HAVE A LARGE GROUP?

I can accommodate a variety of group sizes. Please call with any inquiries so we can find an option that works for your group.

CAN I RESCHEDULE A TRIP?

Trips may be rescheduled when given a 48 hour notice. Please note that openings may be limited depending on the time of year.

WHAT IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?

I will fish in the rain, wind, and snow. If there is lightning, or if you are not comfortable with the conditions, your trip may be rescheduled depending upon availability. 

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

As an elementary teacher,  I love nothing more than sharing my passion for fishing with kids. Depending on ages, I may offer suggestions about species or tactics in order to make sure their time on the water is enjoyable.
